DANGER!!
DEATH RAY
1967
The MST3K gang did a
splendid job of eviscerating this craptacular European Bond knockoff
— the only cinematic adventure of susperspy Bart Fargo
(Gordon Scott). I'd wet myself with glee were Rhino to release
the MST episode, but I'll take it straight up, too. |

DOC
SAVAGE: THE MAN OF BRONZE
1975
I remember being bitterly
let down by this pic — to
date the only attempt at a film version —
as a young fan. By treating
the pulp hero as camp a la the Batman TV show of the '60s
the filmmakers completely blew it. After 30 years, I'd like to
again see just how badly. |

FOUR
FLIES ON GRAY VELVET
1971
This early Dario Argento giallo
certainly has its detractors, who lament it as dull, cold, and
confusing. I've no idea if this is the case since I've never seen
it... but I'd like to find out for myself. Not available in North
America in any format. |

THE
GREEN SLIME
1968
A treat for lovers of
sci-fi schlock, Green Slime showcases
some of the crappiest special effects you'll ever have the pleasure
to snicker at. The monsters are ridiculous, the hero a total asshole.
What's not to like? (Click the title link to read our review.) |

IMPULSE
1974
William Shatner is dressed
to kill! He's a violent psycho who romances women, steals their
money and murders them. He offs Harold "Oddjob"
Sakata, too. (But doesn't romance him.) Delightfully over-the-top
hammery from everyone's favorite starship captain. |

ISLAND
OF TERROR
1966
A low budget affair, Island's
compelling storyline — performed by a game, able cast under surehanded
direction — should please horror and sci-fi fans alike. Peter
Cushing and Edward Judd play doctors racing against time to stop
a horde of bone-sucking creatures. |

IT
CONQUERED THE WORLD
1956
Corman's Carrot: Part plant
and all monster, with crab-like arms and a chainsaw grin. Humanity
had never seen anything like it! Delightful '50s cheese classic
starring Peter Graves, Lee Van Cleef and a feisty Beverly Garland. |

LIGHTNING
BOLT
1966
Super-smarmy
Anthony Eisley (The
Mighty Gorga) is a super-smarmy superspy in this bargain
basement 007 rip-off directed by Antonio Margheriti (Cannibal
Apocalypse). A beer factory, moon rockets, bad dialogue
— this one oozes tasty cheese. |

MASTER
OF THE WORLD
1961
Cheap special effects and a
reliance on stock footage mar this Jules Verne adaptation, but
it's an enjoyable fantasy-adventure nonetheless. Vincent Price
is Robur, an airborne version of Capt. Nemo; Charles Bronson is
the Secret Service agent who thwarts him. |

MERIDIAN:
KISS OF THE BEAST
1990
Silly but well-mounted take
on ye olde Beauty and the Beast fable, directed by low
budget horror pro Charles Band. Why should this be on DVD? Sexy
Sherilyn Fenn (Twin Peaks) gets naked, that's why. Works
for me! |

SHACK
OUT ON 101
1955
Loopy thriller pits commie
saboteurs against federal agents at a ramshackle roadside diner.
A young Lee Marvin completely steals the show as Slob, the greasy
spoon's cook —
who isn't exactly what he seems. One of the weirdest Cold War
melodramas. |

SWEET
SUGAR
1972
Bodacious brunette bombshell
Phyllis Davis is busted for pot in Costa Rica and imprisoned in
a jungle work camp. A mad doctor uses killer house cats to torture
the inmates! Plenty of sex and violence to satisfy your exploitation
sweet tooth. Yowza! |

TOP
SENSATION
1969
AKA The
Seducers. Eurobabes Edwige Fenech and Rosalba Neri get
wicked, kinky and naked in this bizarre Italian sex thriller.
(The goat scene is simply unbelievable.) The movie looks like
shit on bootleg VHS... Positively screams for a widescreen DVD
release! |

TWINS
OF EVIL
1972
Playboy Playmates Mary and
Madeleine Collinson star as orphaned twin sisters who come to
live with their strict, fanatically religious uncle (Peter Cushing)
in a rural village plagued by vampires. Much better than the plot
synopsis would lead one to believe. |
